Before closing on a Ridgefield property transaction, the seller must obtain a paid assessment letter to show the seller that the homeowners association assessment is paid. The seller pays a $25 fee for the letter.

Sellers need to request a paid assessment letter at least one week in advance. The seller will be contacted by an officer of the association for payment of the fee. The assessment letter request is sent by e-mail to one of the association’s officers.
